While children under the age of 18 are not permitted at NatCon, we fully support nursing mothers and will provide a private room during conference hours if needed. SVA trusts its members to hold themselves to a higher standard of morals and ethics, and to uphold these standards at all times. As policy, the following guidelines direct conduct for all SVA participants at any officially sponsored SVA event.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Illegal or irresponsible conduct does more than simply tarnish the offender. It puts innocent people at risk, sullies the reputation of SVA, and undermines the ability of SVA to fulfill its mission of empowering veterans. While any criminal activity is clearly outside the scope of permissible conduct, the standards of conduct during officially sanctioned SVA events is considerably higher.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">SVA expects its guests to at a minimum:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Abide by all policies in this agreement, and comply with all federal, state, and local laws<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Conduct themselves in a professional manner that promotes safety and furthers the SVA mission<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Treat others with dignity and respect, and abide by the shared values of respect, honor, integrity, and excellence<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Refrain from using language that is profane, boisterous, sexually offensive, explicit, or of a derogatory racial or ethnic nature<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Attend every sanctioned SVA meeting\/event without being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and be prepared to fully participate, contribute, and meet training objectives<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">At sanctioned social events, refrain from overindulging in alcoholic beverages<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Adhere to any guidance given by an SVA staff member, or duly appointed guest serving in a supervisory role<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c850721 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"c850721\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-20f862d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"20f862d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Conference Badges<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dddbb37 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"dddbb37\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"\"><div class=\"css-vsf5of\"><p class=\"carina-rte-public-DraftStyleDefault-block\">Each NatCon attendee must wear the conference badge issued by SVA and keep their conference badges visible at all times. SVA, its contractors, and our host venues have the right to deny access to NatCon events including breakout sessions and the SVA Campus to any attendee not wearing a conference badge.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"carina-rte-public-DraftStyleDefault-block\">Attendees may not exchange, give, trade or sell convention badges. SVA makes all final decisions on who has access to the Convention and what badges are issued for the Convention.
