Some other answers include:\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A chance to expand their professional\u202fnetwork\u202f&nbsp;<\/li><li>Leadership experience\u202f&nbsp;<\/li><li>The opportunity for recognition\u202f&nbsp;<\/li><li>Growing their personal brand\u202f&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ask\u202fyour past and existing volunteers to find out why they volunteered and what they gained from their experience with your organization. You can even use those surveys to create\u202fvolunteer testimonials\u202ffor further social proof.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to highlighting what potential volunteers will gain for volunteering, your messaging should also tell them how much time and effort you expect from them, what they can expect to do as a volunteer, and the desired impact from their efforts and your project overall.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not all prospective volunteers are comfortable with the long working hours that working for a\u202fcharity\u202for any other type of nonprofit implies.
